Annual Meeting of Gas-Insulated Switchgear Standards Committee Convened, Shanghai Kstone Joins Standard Discussions

From March 18 to 19, 2025, the annual meeting of the Power Industry Gas-Insulated Switchgear Standardization Technical Committee was held in Shanghai, hosted by Shanghai Chint Electric Co., Ltd. The meeting focused on the construction of industry standards and group standards for gas-insulated switchgear (GIL) and related equipment, with experts from industry associations, research institutions, and leading enterprises discussing multiple technical specifications in depth.

As a technical service provider in the field of gas detection and treatment, Shanghai Kstone S&T Development Co., LTD was invited to participate in the formulation discussions of standards such as Technical Specifications for SF6 Gas Treatment Systems for Gas-Insulated Equipment and Gas Purity Testing Methods for GIL Projects, proposing professional suggestions on performance indicators of SF6 gas recovery and purification equipment and trace analysis methods for fluoride gases.

During the meeting, participants visited Chint's high-voltage switchgear production base, inspected the intelligent production lines for 110kV and above GIL equipment, and exchanged views on the application prospects of gas-insulated switchgear in UHV transmission networks. The meeting laid an important foundation for unifying industry technical standards and promoting domestic innovation and standardized implementation of GIL equipment projects.
