Shanghai Kestone Delivers SF6 Circulation System for Insulation Basin Testing to Xiamen MacroPower

From April 10 to 12, 2025, Shanghai Kestone Technology completed on-site installation and debugging in Xiamen for a customized SF6 circulation system dedicated to insulation basin testing for Xiamen MacroPower. The system integrates core components including SF6 high-speed recovery and charging equipment, gas filtration devices, separation-purification units, and liquid/gas storage tanks, forming a full-process gas management solution.

As an industry technical benchmark, this system has maintained leading performance since its first application in the Shanghai Lepusi insulation basin project at the end of 2017, featuring a recovery speed of ≥15m³/h and an SF6 loss rate of ≤0.5%. Its modular design meets the gas circulation requirements for withstand voltage testing of insulation basins in high-voltage switchgear. The delivered system incorporates a specially optimized humidity control module, achieving a dew point control accuracy of -40℃ at 25℃ to ensure gas purity and stability in testing environments.

According to Kestone representatives, the system realizes fully automated operation via a PLC intelligent control system, reducing manual operation errors and enhancing testing efficiency. It has currently served insulation basin testing projects for over 10 domestic high-voltage switch manufacturers.
