Brand Evolution

The XP-1A's heritage stems from TIF, with internal packaging retaining the original TIF trademark. In 2010, TIF was acquired by ROBINAIR—a U.S. leader in refrigerant recovery systems—aiming to expand into leak detection, recovery, and identification solutions. In 2014, ROBINAIR became part of BOSCH's automotive aftermarket division, leading to the XP-1A's rebranding under BOSCH. Currently manufactured by Bosch Automotive Service Solutions (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., it specializes in automotive refrigerant diagnostics.

Product Application

Designed for the automotive aftermarket, the XP-1A utilizes corona discharge technology to detect refrigerant leaks in vehicle air conditioning systems. Its compact 22.9×6.5×6.5cm body and 35.5cm probe rod enable access to tight spaces, while a 30-hour battery life supports prolonged on-site use. With 14g/year sensitivity certified for R12, R22, and R134a, it meets industry standards for routine maintenance and diagnostic tasks.
